The Zamfara State Government has officially announced the commencement of the second batch of its ongoing 2,000 teachers recruitment exercise, offering opportunities for qualified applicants across technical, vocational, and core academic subject areas.
This development was made public through the Committee for the Recruitment of Teachers in Zamfara State.
Zamfara State Government Teachers Recruitment Second Batch
According to the announcement dated 29th January 2026, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Dauda Lawal, has graciously approved the recruitment of an additional 500 teachers. The recruitment is targeted at strengthening technical and vocational education across the state.
Who Can Apply?
The recruitment is open to applicants qualified to teach in the following categories:
- CT Teachers
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Teachers
Priority will be given to applicants with skills in key technical areas.

- Closing Date: Thursday, 12th February 2026 (11:59pm)
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
